Reminders

Book reviews (2), book log (2 fiction, 1 nonfiction), and reading minute calendars (300 minutes) are all do at the end of the month.  Check with your child to make sure he/she is filling out their reading minute calendar and book log.  

We're half way though the month! Urge your child to finish up their first book review so they won't have to cram at the end of the month.  While book reviews are not due until the end of the month, students may turn them in early if they complete them before the due date.  
*Remind your child to look at the book review scoring guide so they can be sure and include all the information needed for their book review.

Social Studies Test on Wednesday, Oct. 17th

The test will be over chapter 3.  Your child should bring home a study guide tonight.  Students will  be allowed to use the essay portion of the study guide on the test!!!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

I'm looking forward to meeting with everyone! A green sheet with your scheduled conference time will be coming home with your child on Monday!

1st quarter ends and on Wednesday October 17th.  Check the PowerSchool Parent Portal to see your child's current grades.  Please contact the office if you need login information.
